A company celebrated for its growth stemming from strong client relationships and exceptional service quality, is seeking a Lead Service Engineer to join their service team. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide crucial support to a renowned South London hospital and the NHS, playing a significant role in our mission to deliver outstanding BMS solutions.

Position Overview:

  • Location: South London 
  • Salary Range: £40,000 - £50,000 (Negotiable based on experience) 
  • Hours: 8:00am - 16:30pm, Monday to Friday


Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for all reactive BMS issues within the estates department.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with the estates department at the hospital.
  • Provide the office with detailed information for accurate quotation formulation.
  • Seek innovative solutions to help the hospital achieve its energy efficiency goals.
  • Ensure completion and readiness for invoicing of all remedial jobs.
  • Conduct PPMs and support the PPM engineer as necessary.
  • Manage visits to secondary and tertiary sites on a monthly and quarterly basis, respectively.
  • Participate in the company call out rota (1 in 7).


Key Performance Indicators:

  • Timely completion and documentation of all reactive calls and work orders.
  • Receipt of positive feedback from clients.
  • Maintenance of current remedial sales.
  • Effective review, resolution, and action upon BMS alarms.
  • Maintenance of an accurate and updated head end following site works.
  • Completion of the PPM schedule in collaboration with the PPM engineer.

Requirements:
Essential:

  • Previous experience in a service role, with at least 1 year within the BMS industry.
  • Strong client communication and IT skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of BMS, particularly Trend BMS.
  • An understanding of mechanical plant and control applications.
  • A reliable, proactive approach with a passion for the BMS industry and a strong appreciation of the NHS.

Desirable:

  • More than 3 years in a similar role or within the BMS industry.
  • Experience in a static role.
  • Experience in energy monitoring and/or efficiency practices.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications that demonstrate career progression and ability to develop within previous roles.
  • Electrical or mechanical qualifications, with Trend Expert or equivalent being advantageous.

Other Requirements:

  • Permanent right to work in the UK.
  • No underlying health issues that would impede job performance.
  • Residence within the M25.
