Recruiting is easy, isn’t it?

You advertise a job, people apply, you pick one. 

Simple. 

If you’re fortunate, you can be done and dusted in the space of 72 hours. Advertise, person applies in first 24 hours, you interview next day, the accept the offer the day after.

Let’s be honest though, it never really works out like that.

You advertise a job, get loads of applicants (with a high percentage of them not being relevant), you get hounded by Recruiters, your hiring managers have their own day jobs and interviews are often delayed by a couple of days (weeks in some cases), people then go off the market, offers are turned down, and a month later, you’re having to refresh your advert and find yourself engaging with some of those recruiters that keep calling to see who they have available.

What’s different about using a Recruitment Company?
If you’re working with the right one, your job gets put in front of passive candidates who aren’t looking at job boards.

You’re not having to sieve through all those applicants’ CVs, and you’re getting your own salesperson.

We’ll agree on a timeframe to have a shortlist to you, we agree on the days/times that your manager can interview them and then you present an offer to the best candidate to us. 

So, we pre-screen relevant candidates, send you the best ones, do first stage interviews using out Optimedia Platform, arrange 2nd stage interviews, deal with interview feedback (both sides), negotiate to make sure the offer will be right, present the offer and work with both sides to make sure the early days in the job are running smoothly. 

Oh, and you’ll agree on a rebate period, so you don’t need to worry about them starting, paying us the fee and them leaving straight after.

We know what you’re thinking, how can we possibly save you money?

Well, think about it.

Usually, you might interview over 2/3 days at a time, sometimes more if your ideal candidate rejects the offer. 

That’s a lot of hours where your manager is away from their day-to-day responsibilities. Potentially falling behind on work/projects, unable to help staff for a period of time etc. 

The rebate period is a big one here, too. It can be hard to judge whether someone is going to stay in the role for a long period of time, but we make sure that we do everything to test commitment and be as sure as possible that they see your role as a long-term one. 

So, you don’t need to worry about wasting a salary on someone for a few months, them leaving, then having to pay someone else for a couple of months while they get up to speed.

Latest figures have suggested that the average cost of a bad hire is >£120k when you factor in training costs, lost productivity etc.
