They are a proven manager and leader with the ability to create change within an existing business, and then set, and deliver new goals. They have led and managed in fast paced industries and also in niche & bespoke manufacturing. Whilst dealing with world recognised brands, the key areas of quality, deadlines and efficiency have always been at the fore front of their roles and drive. They are extremely proud that each business has gone from strength to strength under their tenure and they still have strong friendships, which they feel is a great measure of their leadership and managerial skills.

Why are they a good candidate?

  • Varied experience across different industries
  • IOSH certified
  • Began their career as an Engineer so have a great technical appreciation
  • Great people skills which allow them to motivate and get the team on board with changes
  • Crisis Management and creating recovery strategies to stabilise struggling/failing businesses

3 greatest professional achievements:

  1. In a very niche business, their influence and leadership managed to stop a year on year 10% reduction in turnover. The change in the business direction and their pragmatic approach has shown business growth across multi-functional teams and has now transformed it into a business that now spans several new markets and has doubled its turnover with a healthy profit margin.

  2. One project during 2021, they organised the installation of a new production line producing over 1.5 million items a day, from the original customer conception. This was a multi company, multinational project that required precise communication and organisation to ensure the project delivery. This included everything from being involved in the initial stakeholder project meetings and identifying machine specifications to ensure a certain level of future proofing, through to installation and commissioning. All delivered on time and meeting the required customer deadlines

  3. The production facility of a previous company suffered a major flood that severely damaged all manufacturing equipment and the customer machines that were being built at the time. They had to organise a recovery strategy whilst ensuring minimal delay was encountered by our customers. They had to take control of the business finances and direct funds to the business-critical areas to ensure survival and recovery were uninterrupted. Whilst the initial process was to secure business survival, all plans had to ensure the customer service levels were met whilst ensuring build costs, safety and the machine quality did not lower from expected high standards. This claim came to over £500K and with clear communications, They managed to prevent loss of orders or loss staff and recovered through the tough period which was the start of the Covid–19 Pandemic.

3 most important things about next move:

  1. The opportunity to progress

  2. The ability to be allowed to reinvest and manage/ create teams that can go on to really push themselves and the company

  3. The company must want to strive to next level and become a market leader in their field
