Are you sick to death of staying in your lane & being tied to your desk?
How about a chance to get out of your comfort zone?
Technically, this role is pretty much as varied as it can be and it’s probably gonna test you in a few areas. You’ll pick things up in the design phase, working on part lists and using AutoCAD to produce electrical schematics and work on the layouts. You’ll move on to programming PLC and HMI using Studio 5000 & Rockwell / Allen Bradley, but that doesn’t mean you definitely won’t need to pick up a screwdriver from time to time.
See, if being pigeon holed and staying in your lane is your idea of bliss this really isn’t the role for you. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with at and every business needs people who are hyper focussed on one area of the industry. That just isn’t how this one’s gonna work.
Salary wise; you’ll earn something in the region of £50k in your first year with overtime usually being on the cards if you either want it or you can’t avoid it at any point. You’ll get a van as well for what it’s worth, but that’s a given rather than a “perk” – don’t let anyone tell you any different.
If working in the office 60%-70% of the time (Burnley) & on site (mainly UK) for the rest is the kind of balance you need in your life, give me a shout and let’s dig into some of the finer details together.
