How many senior roles do you see that allow you to work from home 80% of the time?

Perhaps this kinda thing is one of the silver linings that came from COVID?  Some companies think about what’s best for their people, and whilst they provide a comfortable office space for those that work better in that setting, they’re grown up enough to trust you to get things done from home too.

This is one of those companies.

Don’t get me wrong though, there’s plenty of work to get your teeth in to whilst you’re there...  

You’ll be a Senior Engineer, supporting the team and navigating the controls aspects of a variety of complex materials handling projects, from design to commissioning (c. 70% / 30% split).  Right now, there’s probably more work than they can comfortably cope with so your experience in a similar area will be vital.

As far as the future, this is where it really gets interesting.  The structure of the place is quite flat so, whilst you’ll be able to lean on the experience and knowhow of the leadership team in the short term, there’s nothing stopping you from being a big part of that in the next couple of years.
 
Salary wise, I’d imagine it’ll probably fall in the region of £50k to £55k
