Ever wanted the chance to run your own site with full autonomy and the opportunity to really make it your own?

You’ll have full site responsibility including multiple different functions (HR, H&S, Facilities) and there’s c.100 people on site split across the Tool Room, Injection Moulding Facility, Warehouse, Production Line and Graphic Design office.

Having full responsibility and autonomy probably sounds great so far, doesn’t it?

A few doses of reality though…

• The previous manager has devised a 4 year roadmap which they’re only 12 months in to (and you might want to change the plan)
• Pretty dated site that needs bringing into the 21st century
• Up until 12 months ago, they never really had any well defined KPIs which may pose it’s challenges

You'll ideally be of graduate calibre and have injection moulding experience, be able to demonstrate strong people and general management skills and be able to work autonomously as you're the only senior person on site. You'll be using your knowledge and application of lean/CI tools to make improvements and embed changes within the business as there's probably quite a lot of 'low hanging fruit' initially.

Ultimately, if you’re one that wants a smooth sailing job that you can turn up to at 9 and leave at 5, this probably isn’t for you. On the flip side, if you’re someone that relishes a challenge and likes to juggle a few things at once, give me a shout.

Salary is around £70- 75k with a car allowance and you’ll be based around Oldham.
